Jammin 98.3 has been a proud supporter for years of Northcott Neighborhood House and the annual Juneteenth Day Parade and Celebration.
As we gear up for the 52nd festivities, help is needed to make sure everything goes smoothly. Northcott Neighborhood House is looking for around 300 volunteers for the event.
There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer, including:
- Assist with Juneteenth Parade and Street Festival logistics
- Assist Juneteenth vendors
- Greet Juneteenth attendees and answer questions
- Pass-out vendor & attraction maps
- Set up tables, chairs, and/or tents
- Work with children in the Kid Zone and Teen Zone
- Manage the flow of the crowd
- Tear down tables and/or tents If you cannot volunteer, you can show your support by buying a Juneteenth t-shirt. Proceeds go toward scholarship funds.
