Today, we’re shining a spotlight on the work being done to support older adults and people with disabilities in our community. Joining me is Michelle R. Allison, the Information and Outreach Coordinator for Milwaukee County Aging & Disability Services, part of the Department of Health and Human Services. Their mission is all about empowering safe, healthy, and meaningful lives by connecting people to critical resources that promote independence and inclusion. They have a special event coming up on Saturday, June 28th called Are You Prepared?, and we’re going to learn more about it and the services available to support aging individuals and those living with disabilities.
