Brandi Iberia talked with Becca, a dedicated leader with Revolution Ready, and Sedan Smith, the founder of the organization and brother of Sylville Smith, whose tragic death in 2016 sparked national attention and local unrest. Out of that pain, Sedan created Revolution Ready — a movement rooted in healing, empowerment, and prevention. Together, they continue to serve underprivileged youth through programming that includes self-defense, gun safety, real estate education, and an 8-week life skills bootcamp. They’re also preparing for the 9th Annual Book Bag Drive at Sherman Park, held in Sylville’s honor.
