Juneteenth Parade & Jubilee in the Northcott Neighborhood on Monday, June 19th.

Northcott Neighborhood House presents the 53rd Juneteenth Jubilee Parade.
Milwaukee is home to one of the longest-running Juneteenth Day celebrations in the country. The parade will be televised live on TMJ4 from 9 AM to 11 AM, and the historic parade route steps off at 14th & Atkinson Ave. and ends at Dr. MLK Jr. Drive & Locust St.
A variety of events and activities that reflect the rich culture and heritage of the African American community. From parades and festivals featuring live music, dance performances, and delicious cuisine, to educational workshops and historical exhibitions, Juneteenth in Milwaukee serves as a platform for unity, reflection, and the ongoing pursuit of equality and justice. It is a time for people of all backgrounds to come together, celebrate freedom, and reaffirm their commitment to building a more inclusive and equitable society.

INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?
This year they are looking for volunteers to help with the Juneteenth Jubilee Parade. Volunteers will need to work a minimum of 3 hours, be able to start at 7AM to assist with the parade line-up and be able to assist with clean-up along the parade route until 2PM.

Volunteers for Juneteenth are asked to work a minimum of 4 hours, have a knowledge of the history of Juneteenth, and be prepared to tolerate inclement weather
