Older adult volunteers are needed for a program that helps the homebound remain in their own homes. The Senior Companion Program of the Social Development Commission (SDC) is looking for senior volunteers.

To be a Senior Companion you must be at least 55 years old, unemployed or retired and interested in helping people. Companions make regular visits to elderly residents to whom they are assigned.  They assist by making medical appointments, shopping trips and just being a friend.

Volunteers receive a tax-free stipend that does not impact other benefits.  Call 414-906-2781 to learn more.
