Need mortgage assistance?  A FREE Making Home Affordable Event is coming up on Saturday, June 22 from 8am-Noon at the Washington Park Senior Center, 4420 W. Vliet Street.

Homeowners will learn how to save their home from foreclosure, review refinance or modification options and help lower mortgage payments.  During the event, Select Milwaukee’s certified housing counselors will meet one-on-one with homeowners to help them understand the process of foreclosure prevention including lender expectations.  Homeowners struggling with late mortgage payments can meet with counselors to discuss loan modification options. Select Milwaukee can also help underwater homeowners current on mortgage payments with refinance options including HARP.
