The 19th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Back-to-School Festival is Saturday, August 10 from 11:30am-6pm at King Park, 15th & Vliet.

This year you can enjoy a Gospel Music & Praise Pavilion, a 3 on 3 basketball playoff, hair cut area, arts and crafts workshops, inflatable attractions, youth talent stage, health and fitness area, food and a great family day in the park.

To receive a free backpack loaded with school supplies, parents/guardians and their kids must sign-up between Noon-2pm.  Children from 5K to 17 years old must be present when registered and when the backpacks are distributed beginning at 4pm.
