Energy Assistance season in Milwaukee County is in fully swing.  Energy Assistance is a one-time payment during the heating season that pays a portion of energy costs for eligible residents who are struggling with utility bills.

For an appointment or more information, contact the Social Developmnet Commission 414-906-2800 or Community Advocates at 414-270-6854. Or visit the SDC website.

Applicants for Energy Assistance will need to bring:  a photo ID, proof of income for the entire household during the past three months, social security numbers for all household members and a current energy bill or a letter from the landlord if heat is included in the rent.
