Plans are underway to publicly elect six members to the Social Development Commission (SDC) Board of Commissioners.  The 18-person board is made up of 12 appointed and six elected members. Elections are held for the six elected members every three years.

Starting the third week of January, interested residents will be able to access information on the election and view district maps from the SDC website at www.cr-sdc.org. Potential candidates will have until March 8 to gather at least 200 valid signatures from residents of their district.

The election will be held on a date in April and at locations still being determined.
