Tuesday, April 23 marks the 105th birthday of the U.S. Army Reserve.  Since the inception of the Army Reserve more than a century ago, countless brave citizens have assumed the added responsibility of part-time soldier and many have made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom.

This month, salute our local soldier heroes and the more than 205,000 Americans who stand ready to serve our country in the U.S. Army Reserve.
